Bio

Having struggled with internal doubts and knowing how those emotional fears can hold us back in our lives, Miss Dale is on a mission to promote awareness about the lifelong benefits of emotional intelligence.

Miss Dale’s hope for this generation and all generations is to learn to manage and understand emotions in ourselves and others in a positive way that enhances our lives instead of being restricted by anger, fear, worry, doubt, and conflict.

Miss Dale sometimes lives in the woodlands of the Midwest, and sometimes on a tidal creek in Florida.

A Note From Miss Dale:

“Life is a story. We process and understand our experiences, our world, and ourselves through stories — the ones others tell us, and the ones we tell ourselves. Childhood development specialists have found that until roughly age 11, children aren’t capable of in-depth discussions of issues and options or solutions, but they can identify with and model behaviors and understand the outcomes of story characters.

Most of us have heard the thought demons whispering, ‘You’re not good enough,’ ‘You might fail,’ ‘What will others think?’ and all the other blather and baggage from childhood on. It’s time to teach children about their emotions — how to process and manage them to enhance their lives, not be restricted by them.

That’s why I write the books, the posts, and the short audio meditations for calming small people’s big emotions.”
